Sweet and Loving Male Senegal Parrot for sale in Coventry, New York For Sale

My 5 year old Senegal Parrot (Born xxxxxxxx) male is in need of a new home. I have had him since he was fully weaned at about 12 weeks old. He was hand feed by a breeder.
He has just recently reached sexual maturity and has decided that I am his mate. He is upset that I give attention to his other winged siblings. So he is acting out and I feel that he would be much happier in another home. Preferably one that he is the only bird.
Senegal parrots tend to be "one person birds". This means that they tend to attach themselves to one person and tend to bond with that person. He definitely bonds with one person.
Senegal parrots can live between 30 and 50 years when well kept and healthy.
He is accustomed to dogs and cats, but not children. I will not sell or place him in a home with children.
He does talk. He will not talk unless he feels comfortable. He doesn't say any "bad words", all clean words. He is not a screamer. He is mostly very quiet.
I would like to place him with an adult only household.
He does not come with a cage or items, just him.
I am asking $300.00 for him.
I am reserving the right to deny a sale if I do not feel that his best interest will be served by selling him to a prospective buyer.
I do not believe that a bird (or any animal) should be forced to endure a smoke filled room (or home) so I refuse to sell to a smoker.
Please only contact me if you are interested and can provide him with a proper home.
I would rather not sell him and keep him with me than sell him to the wrong person.
I accepted the responsibility of his care when I brought him home and I will do so until I find the right person for him.
